Overview

Episode of Hamacchi:

His step-sister, Ayu suicided so his wife, Asari is consoling him in his sorrow. One day, his father, Katsuo asked him to visit a detective office and ask the detective about Ayu and Manbou. Manbou has been missing and he was Ayu’s former father. When Hamacchi visits detective Azarashi, a package is delivered and there is a hand inside the box. While investigating the hand, he meets Madam Kanizawa at a bar or manager of brothel, Kisu. Then...

Episode of Ayu:

Katsuo visits Azarashi detective office and ask to look for Manbou who has disappeared.

Manbou is ex-husband of Katsuo's wife named Uni.

Both Manbou and Uni have married and divorced before and both of them have their own child named Nori and Ayu.

However, Nori was dead for ill and they divorced.

Ayu grows up but she can't forget her past and talks with Manbou and Nori who appear as ghost.

Finally, Ayu kills herself.

Director Statement

I created the story about open hearted girls in Tokyo as an indies series. The past time and present time are described alternately. This film is more difficult to understand than the other films of this series. I would like you to enjoy this film with pros and cons rather than entertainment. I shot the part of Ayu, first and the part of Hamacchi next year. I spent 2 years to create this film.
